Sales Assistant

Excellent opportunity to join a new US company with 20+ successful years in China and Asia. We are seeking a Sales Assistant to help fuel our growth in the tradeshow and event industry.

The Sales Assistant position is responsible for providing administrative support to assist in new client development while building long-term relationships with clients. She/he will support sales to utilize a strategic, consultative sales approach to provide client driven solutions in the planning, design, and implementation of tradeshow exhibits and event.

She/he will be responsible for collecting customer information, market research, identifying, developing and building relationships with a multi-industry focus, while meeting revenue goals.

The newly created Sales Assistant needs to be a strategic thinker with a passion for growing emerging brands and a positive can-do attitude.

Responsibilities:

  • Develops and grow the trade show revenue opportunities and exhibit execution; Must be comfortable with a consultative selling approach, for the full range of 3L Corp services, from marketing/promotion material, exhibit design and production; and printing and graphic services
  • Collect prospect information, market research
  • Assist with pursuing new client partnerships to drive business growth for 3L
  • Support & identify and open new markets and business channels to drive additional revenue.
  • Present and demonstrate 3L’s service and value propositions to prospects.

Desired Qualifications & Experiences:

  • BS or BA Degree
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in exhibition/event marketing industry, exhibition company experience is preferred
  • At least 3 years of dedicated, successful experience in Customer Support and Account Management
  • Assist with proposals and quotes
  • Strong work ethic, Self-motivated with high energy.
  • The ability to work independently, as a self-starter, while contributing to the success of the team
  • Strong presentation, organization, planning and follow-up skills
  • Salesforce.com experience
  • Back-up sales reps as needed, via email and chat.
  • Excellent communication and networking skills, written and verbal.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, results oriented environment.
  • Ability to travel (approximately 15%)
